I'm Jacob Goodwin, a Web Developer experienced in writing single page applications and backend services in various languages. Professionaly, I build full-stack React applications using NodeJS backends with the serverless framework and deployed on AWS.
I'm currently trying to get better with Rust and exploring all the latest in edge runtimes.

A few years ago, I started enjoying online programming courses as a post-work hobby. I have since learned numerous technologies and turned my hobby into a career!
At my current position I have worked on enhancing our Permits product and designing our Spot-Block product. I am also frequently a point of contact for our team on niche issues, data transformations, and working with other teams on difficult architectural problems.
I previously worked as an electronics engineer, most recently for an electromagnetics simulation software company where I used my antenna design and simulation expertise to support and consult several top Silicon Valley companies.
